About Jenn Henry
Jennifer Henry is the senior vice president of Workforce Engagement at 2U. Prior to joining 2U, Jennifer was a founding member of an ed-tech start-up and a senior fellow at Pahara Institute, an affiliate of the Aspen Institute. Jennifer has served as the chief program and cities officer for an organization focused on recruiting and training K12 principals to lead high-poverty schools across the United States, and as an Executive Director of a non-profit that supports middle-school students at-risk of dropping out of school. Jennifer was the co-founder and executive director of the Academy for Urban School Leadership (AUSL) in Chicago— one of the country’s first urban teacher residency programs. Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and a master of business administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Jennifer is on the Board of Directors of the National Equity Project, and she is a Fellow and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. She lives in Oakland with her husband and their two children.
