Preethi Anand

Preethi Anand is AVP – Operations Technical Training Academy at HSBC. She is a Learning and Development professional with over 12 years of experience in Learning Strategy and solutions design. With work experience in AIG, Polaris and Intellect (a FinTech startup), Preethi has managed several portfolios ranging from Competency mapping & development to Branding for the learning function. She holds a Bachelors's in English Literature, Masters's in Social Work and has recently completed an Executive Management Program with Cornell University. She is also a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner.  A frequent contributor to T+D magazine and Training Journal (UK), she won the Bronze Award in the category Global L&D Professional of the Year conferred by Training Journal (UK) in 2017. She was also named 40 under 40 in HR, by CNBC and Jombay in 2019.  Her latest upcoming publication on the Business case for Learning will form a part of the 3rd edition of the ATD Handbook.
